Prof. Bolaji Akinyemi, a Professor of Political Science and former Nigerian Minister of Foreign Affairs, has expressed dismay at the way the UN Secretary-General was treated during his recent visit to Russia and Ukraine.
Prof. Bolaji Akinyemi, speaking of the visit, said, “I think the timing was wrong. Both sides were rude to the Secretary-General and I cannot remember for the life of me, anytime in world history, when the Secretary-General of the United Nations has been treated so shabbily…He was insulted by both sides.“
