In response to questions at the inaugural Town Hall session, “thruMYeyes Town Hall” organised by Syncterface Media, legal expert, Mr Oladimeji Adebayo, a UK-based lawyer, has indicated that the entertainment industry in Nigeria should do more to raise awareness of GBV to encourage victims to speak out.
Mr Adebayo says, “Things are gradually improving and will continue to get better, but the entertainment industry in Nigeria has a big role to play in addressing stigmatisation.“
